Healthy Chicken Pasta Salad with Avocado, Tomato, and Basil



Ingredients


  1. 5 cups whole wheat pasta, cooked
  2. 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  3. 1 avocado, cubed
  4. 8 basil leaves, sliced into strips
  5. 1 pound grilled chicken breasts, diced
  6. 6 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  7. 1 (15-ounce) can low-sodium chickpeas, drained

Dressing

  1. 1 avocado
  2. 1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  4. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions


  1. Blend the ingredients for the dressing until smooth.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine all salad ingredients. Top with dressing and stir gently until all the noodles are coated with the dressing.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator until serving.
