Ingredients:


  1. 8 cups vegetable oil for frying
  2. 1 cup rice vinegar
  3. ¼ cup soy sauce
  4. 450 g boneless chicken thighs and skin cubes
  5. 1 cup flour
  6. 1 tablespoon salt


For sauce: 

  1. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 
  2. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  3. 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  4. ½ cup dried chili whole horns
  5. ¼ cup rice vinegar
  6. ¼ cup sugar starch mixture:
  7. 1 tablespoon corn starch
  8. 1 tablespoon water

For decoration:


  1. ¼ cup chopped onions
  2. White rice




how to prepare General Tsu Chicken recipes:



  1. In a large bowl, mix one cup of rice vinegar and ¼ cup of soy sauce with chicken thighs. stir them then cover them with plastic wrap and let them cool for 30 minute to 1 hour.
  2. In another large bowl, mix a cup of flour with a tablespoon of salt.
  3. Remove the chicken from the mixture and dip it in flour and stir it well until completely covered.
  4. Fill a deep frying pan with vegetable oil, then heat up to 185 degrees. 
  5. Fry the chicken in the oil and stir it for 5 minutes until it turns golden.
  6.  Remove the chicken from the oil and strain it over the kitchen tissue paper.
  7. In another large skillet, place a tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. 
  8. Add garlic, ginger for 1 minute.
  9.  Add the dried pepper horns and keep stirring them for 30 seconds, then add the rice vinegar mixed with soy sauce and sugar. 
  10. Stir the mixture until bubbles appear.
  11. Add the starch mixture and stir occasionally until the sauce starts to hold slightly for a minute or less.
  12. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and stir well until the sauce is completely covered.
  13.  Remove it from the heat and serve it with green onions next to rice
